It's hard to believe we've been open for almost a year already! Although my familiarity with the former company was primarily from being one of its fiberglass customers, after some research and soul-searching it didn't take me long to decide it was my type of business. Customers, vendors, employees and the community have been absolutely wonderful and the transition has been smooth. The former company's employees have been training me well! Their knowledge, skill, dedication and encouragement have put us in a strong position to be ready for the upswing we are beginning to experience following the long recession that affected our industry.
Prior to my family moving from Bancroft to Columbus last summer, we owned an automotive repair shop and car dealership which we have since sold. We also own Roth Racing Performance in Norfolk. My sons and I, like my father and grandfather, are avid racing fans and began racing at a young age. Although Trent is now putting his racing aside for fishing, hunting and baseball, Anthony just had his first race of the season. Deanna works parttime for the post office as well as overseeing the accounting functions for both of our companies.
I would like to sincerely thank you for your support and loyalty to the Shell Valley/ Midstates 38-year legacy. I welcome your calls and emails and look forward to meeting as many of you as possible. Thanks again for being on our team!
