CAN I USE YOUR FIBERGLASS PARTS WITH MY STEEL PIECES?

Yes, we have many customers that have used our fiberglass and KevlarŪ tubs with their existing steel front ends. Also, the opposite is true....after an accident, you can use our fiberglass front ends to make repairs, and they will adapt well to your original steel tubs!

WHAT DO I NEED...FIBERGLASS, KEVLAR, OR HEAVY DUTY?

What strenght grade of body to use depends on your type of usage. We recommend fiberglass for mainly on-road and some mild off-road use (trails, hunting, etc). The KevlarŪ bodies are suggested for the people that get into more rough off-roading where you will experience a lot of suspension travel, frame twisting, etc. The Heavy Duty is reserved for those who are into the radical off-roading....rock crawling, high speed trails, mud bogging, etc. If you're not sure what body suits you best, give us a call and one of our staff will be happy to assist you with the best choice for YOUR use!

CAN I GET A TAILGATE ON MY JEEP BODY?

Yes. On our CJ7, CJ8 and Wrangler replacement bodies, we can cut in a tailgate opening at an extra cost. The bodies are made in our mold without the tailgate opening, and we have to cut it in after assembly. We can also make a fiberglass or Kevlar tailgate for your Jeep. We will not cut the tailgate opening in our CJ2 or CJ5 bodies.

WHAT ABOUT THE COLORED GELCOAT?

The colored gelcoat is a lower-cost alternative to a normal paint job. The color itself is in the gelcoat that is the beginning layer to a fiberglass body, and it is considerably thicker and tougher than normal paint. With a colored body, when you're done mounting the body to your frame, just wash it, and you're done! Our color gelcoat option will save you BIG dollars, and the finish quality is nearly as good as a regular basecoat/clearcoat paint job!
